The Dog in the Rain

I was driving home and saw somebody walking their dog in the rain, and the dog looked like it was having the best day of its life.

The Standoff

I watched two people at the grocery store the other day standing in front of the same shelf pretending to compare cereal because neither one wanted to be the person to move first. It’s weird how often people do that. Not with cereal. With life. Everyone waiting for someone else to say something first.

Some people act offended when you expect basic respect

What gets me isn’t even the inconvenience. It’s when someone is clearly in the wrong, but still acts like you’re the problem for saying something. That kind of energy is exhausting.
