Two days into daycare and my 2-month-old ended up with Hand Foot & Mouth because another kid was clearly sick and still got sent in. Now the baby, me, and half the house are miserable. I get that people have schedules and responsibilities, but sending a sick kid in affects everyone else. If your kid is sick, just keep them home.

Lately it feels like everything is turning into the same thing. Every platform, every article, every video… it’s all starting to blur together. You can’t even escape it when you step outside, it shows up in ads, art shows, books, everywhere. I’m not even sure what’s original anymore. Some days it just makes you want to unplug the whole system and disappear somewhere quiet before the real world gets paved over by servers and screens.
