Answered today’s question: What’s the tiniest, most ridiculous thing that’s annoyed you repeatedly but never enough to actually fix it?

When I keep forgetting to put a trash bag back

When I keep forgetting to put a trash bag back in the bathroom trash can. I notice it every time, get mildly annoyed, then somehow walk away like I didn’t just see it.

Stay Broken

That drawer knows exactly how much effort it can get away with. Mine would stay broken for years because technically it still closes, and that’s enough for me to ignore it.

When my earbuds only connect after I open the case, close it, stare at it, then open it again like I’m negotiating with tiny robots.

The TV remote button that only works if you press it like you’re mad at it. I complain every time, then somehow decide buying batteries is tomorrow’s problem.

When my phone charger only works if the cord is bent at the perfect angle. I’ll sit there adjusting it like I’m cracking a safe instead of just replacing the cord.
